Good Morning Britain will bring viewers the results, reactions and analysis of the most closely contested general election in recent history, the morning after polling day.
Across three and a half hours of special programming, eight presenters will report on the day’s breaking news as history is made. Presenters Susanna Reid and Tom Bradby will anchor the programme from the Good Morning Britain studio revealing results and also explaining to viewers what will happen next, what the results mean for them and what kind of new government we should expect.
Ben Shephard will report from a bespoke Thames riverside location, where he will be speaking to key pundits, opinion formers, representative celebrities of the key parties as well as the people behind the most compelling stories of the campaign trail.
Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh will play key roles, reporting the night’s news and gathering reaction from well known political faces and experts.
John Stapleton, one of the country’s most respected political journalists, will be live from Abingdon Green, the heart of Westminster, interviewing leading political figures for their response to the election results.
As Scotland is so vital to the outcome of this election, Lorraine Kelly will be live in Glasgow. She will be be talking to the key Scottish political figures who could play a major role in the next government.
Good Morning Britain’s Political Editor Sue Jameson will be telling us about the next occupants of Number 10 and sharing an insight on what power struggles will be going on behind the closed doors of Westminster.

A team of Good Morning Britain correspondents and ITV News national and regional reporters will support the key eight presenters and there will be informed analysis from Britain’s top experts. This includes commentary from the country’s best-loved political sparring partners, Edwina Currie and Oona King and three former spin doctors, who really know what goes on behind the closed doors of Westminster, will unravel the substance from the spin. There will also be further insight from respected political pundits, Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire.
As well as this, a group of Good Morning Britain floating voters who have been followed throughout the general election campaign will finally reveal which party they decided to vote for.
