For those of you who have been following the TV drama series since day one, you may very well know of the death that occurred at the end of the last season.
The eleventh season of the show ended in heartbreak and despair on May 14, 2015 when it’s final episode “You’re My Home” aired on the American Broadcasting Company’s TV station. Many people speculated that after Shonda Rhimes had killed off such a prominent and important character, the show would fail to return for a twelfth season.
Nevertheless, Grey’s Anatomy is indeed returning this fall for yet another season with hopefully many more to follow.
As speculation continues, lead actress Ellen Pompeo has begun to address issues such as new love interests for her character, Meredith Grey, and how the show will do just fine without Patrick Dempsy and Sandra Oh’s characters. Of course, the only real source that we can trust is the show itself, so it’s best that you watch it to catch up on everything happening at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital.
