Multi-platinum artist and actress Hailee Steinfeld has unveiled her brand new EP, Half Written Story.
Executive produced by Koz (Dua Lipa, Madonna), Half Written Story is a five-track EP which includes the lead single ‘I Love You’s’. The EP is the first instalment of Hailee’s two-part project, with the second half due for release in the summer.
Encompassing an array of emotions which explore the many dimensions of heartache, Half Written Story is a cohesive offering which showcases Hailee’s growth as an artist. From the soaring ‘I Love You’s’ (which samples Annie Lennox’s ‘No More I Love You’s’), the raw emotion of ‘Your Name Hurts’, to the tongue-in-cheek ‘Man Up’, Hailee has delivered an impressive EP which exhibits confidence and vulnerability in equal measure.
Speaking about the EP, Hailee said: “I am incredibly proud of this project and this collection of songs. It’s some of my most personal and favourite music I’ve released and I’m so excited it’s finally out for everyone to hear. I hope you enjoy. ”

Half Written Story was first announced last month following the release of ‘I Love You’s’. Just last week, she performed the single on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from the comfort of her home. Check out her intimate performance below.
The first half of this project is Hailee’s most personal release to date and sees the songstress laying her cards on the table when it comes to heartache. We’re already excited to hear the second part, and can’t wait to hear more of Hailee’s development as an artist.
