Two years after she released her debut album Badlands, Halsey announced that she will be releasing her second album this June, titled Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.

Last year, Halsey posted a few cryptic tweets on her social media pages that read, “YOU CAN FIND ME IN THE KINGDOM.” Now that we know Halsey’s album is titled Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, we are sure that she was alluding to this project.

YOU CAN FIND ME IN THE KINGDOM…

Although some fans speculated that the picture could be the album cover, Halsey tweeted, “Nope! When I’m ready for you to have the album cover, I’m gonna make you find it.” She also revealed that the album is a “strange concept album” and that the title has a meaning to the album as a whole.

It is exactly that. A strange concept album. I didn't name it that for fun. It means something. https://t.co/LdHBQ9MXZN

Halsey’s first album, Badlands, released on August 28, 2015 and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, with singles “Ghost,” and “New Americana.” The music video for the album’s third single, “Colors,” featured Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey, and the fourth single, “Castle,” was used to promote The Huntsman: Winter’s War, starring Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. Most recently, Halsey collaborated with The Chainsmokers on “Closer,” which reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also nominated for a Grammy award.
