Irish superstar singer/songwriter Imelda May has added an additional three dates to her UK tour due to phenomenal public demand. The new November tour dates include a headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. This will be May’s first ever headlining gig at the iconic music venue. She last performed at the venue back in April of this year when she supported The Who in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust
Speaking about the upcoming Royal Albert Hall performance on November 22nd, Imelda May said: “I’m so delighted to perform at The Royal Albert Hall again. It really is a very special place. You can feel the history in the walls and the excitement in the air. The beauty of it takes my breath away. And I’ve got the best view in the house! I hope to see you there.”
The tour extension comes one week after Imelda May wrapped up her UK and Eire tour with three sold-out concerts at Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre, which came after a triumphant sold-out gig at the London Palladium
The full tour dates and venues for the upcoming November shows are as follows;
Sunday 19th November Hull City Hall
Monday 20th November Leicester De Montfort Hall
