Jennifer Lopez makes her long awaited-return to music this week with the unveiling of her brand new single “Can’t Get Enough” – a feel good pop anthem that details the singers much publicised love affair with movie star husband Ben Affleck.

Serving as the lead track to be lifted off of the multifaceted entertainers upcoming LP ‘This Is Me… Now’ – a somewhat sequel to ‘This Is Me… Now’ which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 – the funky song samples Alton Ellis’ 1967 single “I’m Still In Love With You” and arrives alongside a wedding-inspired music video directed by long-term collaborator Dave Meyers (Britney Spears, P!nk, Billie Eilish).

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 Lopez said of the song: “[It feels like] authentic rhythms and melodies and more than anything, a feeling in the music, and I think that’s what a lot of people who heard the album in its early days were feeling. They were like, ‘There’s something true about this.’ There’s something that feels gritty and honest and raw and real and vulnerable and brave about this music from all of these people, not just from me. I love it. I feel like ‘Can’t Get Enough’ is a perfect way to kind of come out of the box with this one because it does have that like my performance energy.”

Watch the official music video for “Can’t Get Enough” below:

Set to launch Friday, February 16th 2024, ‘This Is Me… Now’ serves as Jennifer’s first studio album in a decade, following on from ‘A.K.A’ in 2014.

To co-inside with the records release, Lopez will share a film inspired by the project, which will stream globally on Amazon’s Prime Video.

Directed by Meyers, This Is Me… Now: The Film is described in a press release as “a narrative-driven, intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly visual musical reimagining of (Lopez’s) publicly scrutinised love life”.

Jennifer, who wrote the film with husband Ben Affleck and Matt Walton, said of the movie: “This musical experience is a manifestation, through music, film, and reality, of a life’s journey on the search for the truth about love.”
