2009 X Factor champion Joe McElderry is an esteemed, award winning artist and theatre star and this year fans will be able to enjoy his spellbinding live show from the comfort of their own home.
The pop star turned opera suprano has announced that his first live tour DVD will be released on November 9th which features his incredible live tour dates in all their glory.
The DVD includes highlights from his outstanding Saturday Night At The Movies tour which saw him perform to thousands of devoted fans across the country.
The exciting news was announced by Joe McElderry earlier today (Wednesday, October 17th) via an official blog post. The blog also contained details of a DVD premiere which will take place on November 9th at The Customs House South Shields.
Speaking about the event, McElderry posted: “Hi Everyone, Today I have really exciting news – again! The next leg of the ‘Live in Concert 2018’ tour is jam packed with shows almost every night, however on the 9th November we have no show which sits between the Blyth and Consett shows. I had a little think, I wanted to do something for you guys; something we can share and celebrate together, a bit of glam perhaps but definitely a lot of fun! I decided a DVD premiere would be perfect, we have all been awaiting the release and it seemed the perfect time to fit this is as part of the second leg of the tour. The premiere will be held at The Customs House South Shields, starting off the evening with a photo opportunity with little old me for all ticket holders, then a premiere screening for us all on the big screen. Every ticket holder will also get a signed DVD from the merch desk as they leave (unsigned copies will also be available on the evening for £25) I’m super excited for this, I have been part of the editing process but am yet to see the full and finalised copy as I wanted to share that with you all! For those who are unable to attend never fear the DVD will be on pre-order through the online. Hope to see you all there, in my hometown of South Shields and where it all started at The Customs House!”
Tickets for the premiere event are priced at £65 and are on sale now!
