Anne-Marie And Olly Murs Join Forces For Latest ‘Karate With Anne-Marie’

Anne-Marie’s ‘Karate With Anne-Marie‘ YouTube series is quickly becoming one of our favourite parts of the week. With the likes of Roman Kemp and The Vamps already featuring, this week saw Olly Murs jump on board for a masterclass.

In this week’s episode, Olly reveals his family is from the circus, much to his karate teachers disbelief. During the session we learn about the Gedan Barai; a blocking technique against kicks and the kicks they’ll need to be defending against. Nunchucks and some fancy skills with them in which Olly manages to slap himself in the face with, making uncomfortable but quite funny viewing… Combinations of blocking which Olly is an absolute master of, except when Anne-Marie floors him on the first go (don’t try and beat a former world champion). Scoring the highest out of all the guests so far Olly Murs receives a very impressive 9.5 out of 10.

Both Anne-Marie and Olly have incredibly busy schedules at the moment meaning this must have been a nice little ‘break’ for them both. Anne-Marie is just about to head out on her Speak Your Mind UK tour following on from the release of her new self-love vibed single Perfect To Me. Whereas Olly Murs’ sixth studio album You Know I Know was last week, whilst both artists are heading out on solo tours in 2019.

Olly has recently launched his own ‘Do It Like‘ series where he teams up with some of the biggest names in sport to be taught some new skills, so we bet he loved teaming up with former triple world champion Anne-Marie for this video!

We’re still waiting for Anne-Marie to invite us on for a ‘Karate With Anne-Marie And CelebMix‘ episode but maybe that’s being saved for 2019… we can dream, right? Who would you love to see feature on the series? Tweet us @CelebMix and let us know!
