Referred to as “the people’s DJ,” melodic house producer Le Youth announces Part 1 of his ‘About Us’ tour, a conceptual run of tour dates, beginning February 3, 2023. The tour is designed to bring people together, create intimate moments, and remove the literal and figurative separation between himself and his fans.
Attendees will find themselves immersed in a unique setting where they are as much a part of the experience as Le Youth himself. With an all-new production set-up (at the larger events) , one-time-only city-exclusive merchandise and much more, every ‘About Us’ show will encourage fans to leave their inhibitions at the door for a night of unforgettable, unfiltered, intimate musical memories like none other.
Le Youth shares, “It’s not about me, it’s about us,” accentuating that without you, Le Youth wouldn’t and couldn’t be who/what it is today.
To get things started, Le Youth teams up with Jerro on a brand-new single, “Lost,” featuring Lizzy Land, via This Never Happened.
“Lost” opens on shimmering tones topped by the ethereal, warm tones of Lizzy’s crème de la crème voice, imbuing the lyrics with deliciously tender timbres. A thumping kick drum provides the rhythmic pulse as dreamy, coruscating washes of leitmotifs glide overhead, infusing the tune with nostalgic savors.
The feel and flow of “Lost” are creamy yet pushing, as if floating atop gentle swooshing clouds, spinning across a blue sky. Lizzy’s soughing textures fill the song with delicate sonic allusions, at once tantalizing and soft.
