Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut single ‘World’s On Fire’, singer/songwriter Lots Holloway is back with her brand new single. The new track is titled ‘Stay A Little Longer’ and has been released via Why I? Records via Absolute.
Similar to her debut release, Lots Holloway once again manages to balance a true pop appeal whilst still possessing compelling, thought-provoking lyrics that very much question our society. This time around Holloway has delivered a dark instrumental to accompany her distinctive vocal tone. It’s a music style and sound that compliments the song’s topic of “manipulative people”
Speaking about ‘Stay A Little Longer’ Lots Holloway explains. “Be it in relationships, friendships, or even in politics. Those that are controlling, possessive and power thirsty – with charm and an ability to hypnotize you.”
As well as the songwriting, Lots Holloway is also responsible for the almost the entirety of the instrumentation, production, and programming of her original music.
Along with the release of her new single, Lots has also revealed the official music video for ‘Stay A Little Longer. The clip’s visuals are also created solely by Holloway. You can watch the video here:
