Love Actually Cast Reunite To Film Red Nose Day Special

Fourteen years after the world was initially introduced to the holiday classic Love Actually, British broadcaster Emma Freud confirmed that there would be a sequel!

She announced on Twitter that director Richard Curtis would be recruiting the original cast of Love Actually for this year’s Red Nose Day. She called the project “Red Nose Day Actually.”

Then just a day later, Freud shared some behind-the-scenes pictures of the short film. The photo below shows director Richard Curtis and none other than ‘Joanna’ herself Olivia Olsen! Although she was only eleven years old when Love Actually came out, she blew everyone away with her performance of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Freud also posted a picture of actors Liam Neeson (Daniel) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Sam), who played father and son in the film.

Another photo reveals that the pair have already begun shooting the special, and by the looks of it, they are even filming a very similar scene from the 2003 movie.

See what we mean? We already know the special is going to give all the feels.

Along with Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Olivia Olson, Rowan Atkinson, Marcus Brigstocke, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Martine McCutcheon, Lúcia Moniz and Bill Nighy will all return to reprise their roles.

Red Nose Day is a telethon charity event that raises awareness about children living in poverty. The event will take place on Friday, March 24th, 2017.
