Mabel continues to showcase her incredible artistry with her infectious new track, ‘Mad Love’.
Teaming up once more with Steve Mac and Kamille – the dream team behind Mabel’s previous hit single ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ – ‘Mad Love’ is a stomping anthem for women to call the shots when it comes to talking about what (and who) they want.
“All night give me mad love, yeah don’t let me down d-d-down,” sings Mabel during the chorus’ earworm hook, which we’re certain will be stuck in your head after just one listen. The song is empowering, unapologetic and completely liberating – another stellar release from rising star Mabel.
The track has also been teamed up with a visual directed by Marc Klasfeld, who’s previously worked with the likes of Cardi B and Destiny’s Child. The slick visual showcases Mabel and her girl squad of dancers serving fierce dance moves and eye-catching looks.

‘Mad Love’ follows on from the success of ‘Don’t Call Me Up’, which peaked at number three on the UK singles chart. Both tracks are taken from Mabel’s forthcoming debut album High Expectations, which is now due for release on August 2nd.
Last month, Mabel was named as YouTube Music’s first UK Artist on the Rise. Speaking about her achievement, she said: “I can’t quite believe I’ve been chosen to be YouTube Music’s first UK Artist on the Rise, it’s been such a whirlwind!
“I feel privileged to be recognised by a platform that has been such an integral part of my creative journey, YouTube is one of the most amazing ways I can connect with my fans all over the world. I’m so excited for the next chapter and I hope I can make my YouTube Music family proud.”
Following performances at Capital’s Summertime Ball and Parklife this weekend, Mabel will continue her summer on the festival circuit in addition to headlining her first tour in the US. The songstress will also be supporting Khalid on the forthcoming UK and European leg of his tour.
‘Mad Love’ is out now.
