Katy Perry made her smashing return to the music industry with her hit single, “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley. Now she is back again and ready for the world to feast upon this brand new track and hopefully support it enough to reach #1.
Supposedly, “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appétit” are the first two singles off her long awaited album. But until she confirms this new album, we will have this new groovy track on repeat.
The single’s cover is Perry’s cropped head, laying on a platter of assorted fruit, while the hands of the three members of Migos decorate the outside of the picture on top of the classic checkered table cloth. Is the cover interesting? Yes. Is it different? Yes. Are we loving it? Oh, of course.

The track is definitely the new song of the summer. It’s upbeat and fun; You can’t help but get up and dance when listening to the hard bass and cool EDM beats. “Bad and Boujee” rappers, Migos, also add that extra flare and hard hitting edge to the song.
The lyrics are also very steamy. The lyrics include lines like, “A table for two / And it’s okay / If you take your time / Eat with your hands, fine / I’m on the menu”. The chorus has even more “food related” lyrics.

With the combination of the hipster beat and the sensual lyrics, this song is a hit and we can’t stop listening.
