Grammy nominated superstar Mike Posner is back with his brand new single ‘Song About You’. This is Posner’s first original track in two years, since his platinum selling hit single ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’. That huge track catapulted Mike to worldwide fame and has since racked up more than 1 billion streams.
The new track is a raw and honest song inspired by the collapse of a relationship. The track centres around a melodic hip-hop beat and Mike’s acoustic guitar. Speaking about ‘Song About You’ Mike Posner says: “It was good to make this song because of all the angst that was inside me. What do you do with that angst? I put it in a song. Then I don’t have to throw it on another human or on myself,”
His new release sees him making a welcome return and gives fans a taste of what to expect from Mike in the future. ‘Song About You’ will no doubt strike a real chord with listeners across the world and become a major hit.
It also gives fans an insight into the sound they can expect to hear on Posner’s upcoming studio album which is due to drop in the coming months, and is one of the most anticipated LP’s on the horizon.
