Mollie King, Simon Rimmer and Chris Kamara call on the nation to Spot the Switch!

The nation’s best-loved Sunday faces – Mollie King, Simon Rimmer and Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara – have come together in a new campaign that is calling on the general public to make the most of their Sunday and take part in the #SundaySwitch.

Two near-identical images of the three stars enjoying a typical Sunday morning together have had 10 subtle ‘switches’ made between them, encouraging eagle-eyed players to spot all 10 in just two minutes – the same amount of time that it takes to find a better energy deal.

Those wanting to play along and spot the switch can do so here: https://www.comparethemarket.com/energy/information/sundayswitch/

comparethemarket.com is launching the eight-week campaign as it has been revealed that we have an average of 4 hours and 42 minutes worth of downtime every Sunday – a significant amount of spare time that many of us simply don’t have during the week.

Mollie King said: “It was great fun working on this campaign with comparethemarket.com, but there’s also a valuable lesson for people too. I was so surprised to learn that millions of households have never switched their energy. Hopefully this will encourage members of the public – like me – who hadn’t switched before to take just a few minutes out of their Sunday and see what savings they could make as a result.”

Simon Rimmer said: “I’m thrilled to be taking part in this campaign with Mollie and Chris. It’s so easy for us to let our to-do lists slip and grow ever longer, week by week. However, getting a new energy quote really is so straight forward – I was surprised by just how simple it was! That’s why I wanted to take part in this campaign, to encourage the nation to visitcomparethemarket.com so they can see just how easy the savings are to be made.”

Chris Kamara said: “Getting an energy quote can take just minutes, but there’s unbelievable savings to be made. Whilst there’s always other things we might want to be doing on a Sunday, such as going for a walk or catching up with your favourite football reporter, sometimes it is important to prioritise our to-do lists too. Not only is it easy to do, but you could find out what big savings you can make in minutes!”
