Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have revealed that season 6 of Once Upon A Time will have a new format. Instead of the season being split into two parts, there will be smaller arcs, similar to season 1.
Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly, “This season is going to be different from past because it’s not going to be Hyde comes to town, we fight with him for 10 episodes, and then in the winter finale, he dies and we move on.”
He added, “One of the things that we really want to get back to this year is that season 1 and 2 vibe of small town stories, being in Storybrooke and getting back to Mary Margaret as the teacher, Emma as the sheriff, Grumpy as the janitor.”
Adam Horowitz added that he is excited about seeing the characters back in Storybrooke. This time, the fans will see them in a whole new perspective. Fans should also expect to learn more about the Land Of Untold Stories, along with several new characters. With all these new details, fans can’t wait for the return of the series, especially now that the Evil Queen is back!
Season 6 of Once Upon A Time is scheduled to premiere in the fall on ABC.
