As we head into the summer months, it feels like we’re being given new music from every artist possible. This week’s New Music Friday was awash with new releases from established and breakthrough artists, including Nick Jonas, Anne-Marie and Mike Posner, Halsey and Lauren Jauregui, Jordi Whitworth and Joakim Molitor.
However, here at CelebMix, we didn’t even scratch the surface this week as there were so many high profile releases, but don’t worry, we’ve got it covered now. We’ve rounded up some of the best new music releases for your listening – enjoy!
Little Mix – ‘Power’ featuring Stormzy
‘Power’ is a fan favourite from Little Mix’s Glory Days album. Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne decided to switch up the song a little before releasing it as their next single, and who better to feature on the track than Stormzy? A collab has been rumoured for a while, and we’re excited to know that it’s just as awesome as we’d anticipated!
Noah Cyrus – ‘I’m Stuck’
Noah Cyrus has dropped another track from her forthcoming debut album, NC-17. ‘I’m Stuck’ is a country-pop offering in which you can definitely hear the influences of her father Billy Ray Cyrus and sister Miley Cyrus. However, Noah has her own individual edge too which is guaranteed to propel her into super stardom. We can’t wait to hear more from her!

Rita Ora – ‘Your Song’
Rita Ora makes her pop comeback with ‘Your Song’. Co-written with Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, it’s her first single from her sophomore album and her first release in two years. It’s safe to say that ‘Your Song’ is an absolute bop, and after focusing on TV/film over recent months it’s great to have Rita back on the scene!

Martin Garrix – ‘There For You’ featuring Troye Sivan
Globally renowned DJ Martin Garrix is back with a new single, this time teaming up with Australian singer and YouTuber Troye Sivan. ‘There For You’ was originally debuted at Coachella back in April but is now available for all to enjoy on repeat. The EDM track is infectious and has also been given an atmospheric music video which you can check out below.

Sia – ‘To Be Human’ featuring Labrinth
Pop powerhouse Sia has teamed up with Labrinth for a new song called ‘To Be Human’. The track is taken from the Wonder Woman soundtrack and is suitably anthemic and powerful. We challenge you to take a listen and not be moved by the compelling song.

Pia Mia – ‘I’m a Fan’ featuring Jeremih
Pia Mia is back with a slick new song called ‘I’m A Fan’. Teaming up with Jeremih, the track is sultry and sexy, with the duo proving that their collaboration is a match made in heaven. After releasing a number of great songs, we’re still patiently awaiting Pia’s debut album – fingers crossed we won’t be waiting for much longer because we’re so excited to hear what she else she can deliver.

Carly Rae Jepsen – ‘Cut To The Feeling’
Pop’s most underrated princess Carly Rae Jepsen is back with another great offering. ‘Cut To The Feeling’ is pop music at its finest and is also a potential summer anthem for sure. The song was written around the time that Carly was working on her last album E•MO•TION but didn’t make the cut. It will now appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming film Leap!

D’Ambrosio Twins – ‘Young and Free’
Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio are back with their uplifting, fun anthem ‘Young and Free’. The track follows on from their Got You Covered album which was released earlier this year. Keep your eyes peeled to CelebMix as we’ll be premiering the official music video later this week. Eric Saade – ‘Another Week’
Swedish artist Eric Saade is back with his new single ‘Another Week’. The former Eurovision Song Contest representative has delivered an infectious song which is guaranteed to make you want to bop along. We’re loving the vibe throughout which makes it the perfect addition to any summer playlist.

S.O.O.N. – ‘We Get It Right’ featuring Ryan Dolan
‘We Get It Right’ is the latest offering from S.O.O.N, with the help of Ireland’s 2013 Eurovision Song Contest representative Ryan Dolan. From the off, we’re loving the tropical vibes and can picture ourselves listening to this whilst chilling on the beach. Everything about this song is infectious – the catchy melody, the dreamy vocals and smooth lyrics – and is well worth being played on repeat.

Scooter – ‘Bora! Bora! Bora!’
‘Bora! Bora! Bora!’ is the infectious new offering from iconic German dance group, Scooter. As expected, they’ve delivered a hard-hitting dance track with a thumping beat which is guaranteed to be a huge song across dancefloors all over the world. You cannot help but want to jump up and down to this anthemic offering – get us to the nearest club now!
