It’s official, new Union J music is on it’s way.
The X Factor boyband earlier this year shocked music fans by announcing that they were parting ways with George Shelley and would be continuing as a three piece until a replacement for George can be found.
But since the shock announcement the three boys, Jaymi Hensley, Josh Cuthbert, and JJ Hamblett, haven’t been sitting around licking their wounds, instead they have got straight back to work and are currently working hard in the recording studio, recording the follow up to their 2014 studio album ‘You Got It All’.
Yesterday, the official Union J Twitter account posted a photo of JJ Hamblett, with the caption “Studio time” (sic).
Becoming a three piece isn’t all that new to the band, as way back in 2012 they were originally called Triple J, and were only made into Union J after X Factor bosses decided to add George Shelley into the group.
It is still unknown as to when the lads will announce a new fourth member, if in fact they do decide to replace Shelley.
But we here at Celeb Mix cannot wait for Union J to get back in the charts with their new music, and we are excited to see what direction the group takes.
Are you excited for new music from Union J? Do you think they should find a replacement for George Shelley? If they do decide to replace George, who would you like to see become the fourth member? Let us know over on Twitter @CelebMix or leave a comment below.
