Omar Rudberg has announced upcoming single ‘She Fell In Love In The Summer’ ahead of its release later this month.
The Young Royals star celebrated 20 million streams on his pitch-perfect debut album OMR this week and has followed it up with news of his next single.
The 24-year-old has been busy in the studio this year having shared a series of teasing photos and updates from life in the booth.
It’s been a jam-packed 2023 for Rudberg who released the lovesick ‘Call Me By Your Name‘ in January before putting out an EP with new versions of ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ following that track’s viral moment – CelebMix chose five of the star’s other songs that deserve such attention last month.
Between those releases, there was also time for a cover of ‘I’m So Excited’ after the pop star performed his version of the Gloria Gaynor hit at the QX Gay Gala to acclaim.
Rudberg’s next era of new music is set to begin with ‘She Fell In Love In The Summer’ which will be released on April 28th.
The track is already available for pre-save – which you can do here – and fans that do so are treated to a thirty-second preview of the single.
A brooding ditty which sees Rudberg’s vocals at their very best, he sings: “She was hitting bottom again / she fell in love in the summer when life was just a dance and she believed someone loved her, thinking / I’m as free as I’ll ever be”.
Fans online were quick to share their excitement for the single with some praising Rudberg’s “golden” and “beautiful” voice in the short clip.
Another said: “It’s a ballad, I’ve been waiting so long for this. It sounds so goood!”
One Twitter user added: “So mesmerising and nostalgic. I look forward to it.”
