Apple announced their Apple Music Festival (formally, iTunes Music Festival) today and we are well pumped that One Direction is going to be one of the headlining acts! The boys will perform on September 22, 2015.
The event always brings big names, with amazing sets. Former performers include: Justin Timberlake, Adele, Sir Elton John, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.
The festival takes place in London at the Roundhouse Theater and is aired across the world via Apple for free via iTunes, Apple Music, and Apple TV.
The last time the One Direction boys played this festival was in 2012. Look at these wee little babes. We can only hope Harry Styles whips out these white jeans again.
Other headliners of the 2015 Apple Music Festival include: Pharrell Williams, Florence + The Machine, and Disclosure.

The Apple Music Festival takes place over ten nights in London from September 19 to September 28. This is a shorter time period than in the past where the iTunes Music Festival ran almost the entire month of September. But we are sure there will be a lot of lead up, interviews, and cross promotion with Apple Music to generate plenty of buzz for the event.
Tickets are limited to UK residents only and they can apply to win tickets on Apple Music as well as through media partners including the London Evening Standard.
