‘Counting Stars’, the 2013 single by OneRepublic, has been certified Diamond (10x platinum) in the USA.
As confirmed by the RIAA, ‘Counting Stars’ was awarded the certification on August 20 after selling over 10 million units.
OneRepublic join one of the most prestigious clubs in music, with less than 30 artists including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor and Ed Sheeran previously achieving the feat.

Released in 2013, ‘Counting Stars’ is one of OneRepublic’s most successful singles to date. The track peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, whilst charting at number one in countries including Canada, Finland, Israel, Poland, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. It has also received numerous certifications in countries across the globe.
The music video for ‘Counting Stars’ has also notched up over 2.3 billion views on YouTube, currently making it the 15th most viewed video in the platform’s history.
‘Counting Stars’ is taken from OneRepublic’s third album Native, which also featured the hit singles ‘If I Lose Myself’, ‘Love Runs Out’, ‘Feel Again’, ‘Something I Need’ and ‘I Lived’.
