It seems like we’ve been waiting all year for this song and music video, especially with Platnum’s constant teasing; finally, it has been dropped and the “Looking For Love” music video is everything we wanted and more. It was totally worth the wait. The Platnum & Sweet Female Attitude collaboration is beyond perfection.
We first heard this song back in March when both acts performed together at Staffordshire University’s venue LRV. They sang the song exclusively on stage, which got an awesome reaction. Since then, they have been teasing the collaboration on their social media, releasing images of the music video, exciting us to no end.
Now, the music video has been released, on Staunch Records YouTube Channel. This is the record label that the song will be released under. Platnum & Sweet Female Attitude also announced on their Facebook profiles that the song will also be released alongside mixes from Ollie Weeks and Reiss Nicholas.

The song sees these two classic garage artists collaborate together and it totally takes us back to Platnum’s “What’s It Gonna Be” & “Love Shy (Thinking About You)” and Sweet Female Attitude’s “Flowers”. Reminiscent of our childhood, the song also has an air of Platnum’s “Signals” to it, bringing this amazing catchy track that we can’t get enough of.
Michelle McKenna kickstarts the track with her verse, bringing off-the-radar vocals like we’ve never heard her sing before. Impressing us all from the get-go; she really unleashes fire on this track as we lead up to the infectious chorus, which sees all three singers harmonise. Aaron Evers follows with his soulful R&B male vocal verse, which certainly switches the track up, all before Sweet Female Attitude’s Leanne Brown brings the deep house garage sound; this is totally the bit that DJs are going to love mixing up. We cannot wait to hear the remixes of this track.
As for the music video, all three singers manage to have their own spotlight. Platnum and Sweet Female Attitude are joined in the visual by three dancers who bat out intense choreography, as well as a fire performer. There are also some awesome UV lighting scenes that certainly keeps the audience engaged.
Whilst we all wait for this song and its remixes to be released in January 2018; we shall be playing this music video on repeat.
