On Friday night, the students at Staffordshire University were treated to Platnum, Sweet Female Attitude, and Jaimeson, all performing at their university club, LRV (Leek Road Venue).
The venue holds their weekly Mukky Duck event, every Friday during each semester of University. CelebMix were in attendance and Snapchatted the whole event.
Jaimeson was on first, he did a full DJ set to get the students ready for Platnum and Sweet Female Attitude. He played some classic tunes mixed with some current dance tracks that had us all ready for the main stars.

Towards the end of the night, Platnum and Sweet Female Attitude came onto the stage together. Consisting of Aaron Evers, Michelle McKenna, and Leanne Brown; they gave it their all on the LRV stage.
As a collaborative trio, they sang their own hits mixed in with some covers, as well as a whole new song they are anticipating to release soon.
Platnum started the set off with their song “Love Shy (Thinking About You)”; the performance of the song brought the energy level of the whole club up; this was what we had all been waiting for.
Leanne Brown’s vocals were on point throughout; she totally shined on Sweet Female Attitude’s “Flowers”, which is still stuck in our heads today.
The trio also covered many tracks, including Jade’s “Don’t Walk Away” which was pure fire from start to finish, this is a cover they need to release. As a collective, they really bring the garage feeling with added soul and amazing pop vocals. They may have originally made it big back in 2008 with their respective songs, but they’re ready for a comeback if this new song is anything to go by.
They ended the whole set with their biggest single to date H2O’s “What’s It Gonna Be”, which they originally featured on. This was the song we were all obsessed with when they first hit the music scene; as always they knocked it out the venue with their performance of the song.
If you ever get the chance to see these live, don’t miss out on the opportunity. They bring energy like no other; super fired-up vocals; and will certainly have you dancing away on the dancefloor. Keep an eye on where they will be performing next on their Twitter and Facebook.
Don’t forget, they’ll be releasing a brand new song very soon, and a music video has been confirmed.
For the time being, you can check out the songs they previously released in our article celebrating Platnum becoming verified on Twitter..
