“Lost and Solita,” will be the new three words stuck in your head for the next few months.
Prettymuch has been called the next big thing since their debut in the music industry back in 2017 and they have the music to show why. Their 90’s inspired single, “Would You Mind,” and their summer hit, “Summer On You,” written by Ed Sheeran, they get better with every release. They just released their new, what will for sure be a hit, song “Solita.” The guys from Prettymuch partnered up with Rich The Kid to try out the latin pop world, new territory for the Simon Cowell curated group, but they ride the groovy, funky, beat with ease. This definitely has some of their flirtiest lyrics to date with the dance beat backing them up. “Hola, mama, you got me losing focus. Got what you need, and you don’t even know it. Lost and solita, I found you,” they croon on the chorus.
Rich The Kid also delivers the same energy. “Solita” could very well be the group’s very first big break on radio. Latin-pop has been very popular with hits like “Despacito” and the recent Cardi B hit “I Like It.” For sure, they are due to for a massive hit by now and “Solita” could be that hit. Fans will see Austin Porter, Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara and Zion Kuwonu perform their new single, “Solita” on The Funktion Tour this fall.
