Today is the day that the world’s heart fell apart 15 years ago. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah passed away at the age of 22 on a plane that crashed shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas where her and her team shot the music video for “Rock The Boat.”
Also on that plane were security guard Scott Gallin (41), family friend Keith Wallace (49), record label employees Douglas Kratz (28) and Gina Smith (29), hair stylists Eric Foreman (29) and Anthony Dodd (34), make up artist Christopher Maldonado (32), and pilot Luis Morales III (30).
