With the successful launch of their album Youngblood, 5 Seconds of Summer are finally back on the road.

They just played their third North American show on the tour in Boston and they couldn’t have played more energetically if they tried, their performance was a perfect way to end summer.

The guys kicked of their show with “Babylon” as 6,000 screaming fans jumped up and down along to the song.

Most of the setlist was their new album, but they did play old songs, songs that fans from the very beginning would know by heart such as “Amnesia,” “She’s Kinda Hot,” as well as the Ghostbusters anthem “Girls Talk Boys.” Even if you only know four or five songs, the show was like a big rock show, with their ways of commanding the stage and their fun conversations in between some songs, you’re sure to have a good time.

There are so many fun songs to rock out to that they do need to have some time to let the crowd re-energize. Their catchy, slow song “Lie To Me,” had the crowd swaying back and forth singing at the top of their lungs.

The best part of 5 Seconds of Summer is they know how to get the crowd going. They know what their fans love and what their fans love hearing.

With that being said, their last three songs were the most popular ones of course. The beginning of the end of their show was “Want You Back,” which got the crowd super excited since that was their big comeback song. They went onto play their classic “She Looks So Perfect,” which got the crowd clapping in perfect rhythm. They finished off their show with the single that the album is named after, “Youngblood,” which was just an epic way to end the show, a big rock anthem.

Overall, fan or not fan, this show will be sure to get you in a good mood.
