Rick Cosnett, who appeared in season one of The Flash as Detective Eddie Thawne, is set to return to the show this season. Cosnett made the announcement on Twitter.

Since his character died in the season one finale, there are no details to how Eddie will be returning, whether that be through a flashback or alive once again. With a show filled with doppelgangers, multiple Earths, and timelines, there really is no telling how we’ll see Cosnett back on the screen.
The news comes just a week after EW reported that Robbie Amell would be reprising his role as Ronnie Raymond. There are also no details to how Ronnie will be back, other than he will appear in a winter episode.
