By addressing the breakdown of a relationship with bold lyrics, Sam Lavery has crafted a brilliant new breakup anthem. The teen powerhouse’s latest single ‘Done’ is equally upfront and upbeat!
At its essence, ‘Done’ is about putting yourself first and not settling for second best. If someone isn’t treating you how you deserve to be treated, you sometimes need to move on and put an end to that relationship. It’s a case of head over heart.
Sam once again teamed up with songwriter and producer Charlie Drew for her new single. From their collaborations, it’s clear that the talented pair work exceptionally well together in the studio.
Sharing her brand new single on social media, Sam Lavery said: “DONE!!! So happy to finally release this one! Been sitting on this one for a while and it’s finally here! Go have a listen!”
‘Done’ is available here on all digital media platforms. The outspoken track follows Sam’s previous five singles: ‘Walk Away’, ‘Beat Of You’, ‘For The Night’, ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘What You Do‘. With each release, Sam continues to add to her incredible discography.
2019 has been a fantastic year for Sam so far. As well as releasing catchy new tunes, the Durham-born songstress has been starring as Whatsername in American Idiot’s 10th anniversary UK tour. We saw the show in Manchester and can confirm that Sam was absolutely phenomenal on stage.
