Sarah Darling and Kenny Foster Share ‘Country Roads’ Cover

Today, American country music sensation and adopted Brit Sarah Darling turns 37 and to celebrate her special day the Iowa native has shared her stunning cover of John Denver’s ‘Country Roads’.

The gorgeous rendition was filmed at the Yellow Bird Art Farm alongside vocal powerhouse Kenny Foster. The clip was shot and edited by Ryan Featherstun last month while the audio was captured and mixed by Chris Rafetto.

The clip comes just a week before the standout talent’s string of tour dates in Germany as part of Country Music Week.

Speaking about the collaboration, Kenny Foster said: “In anticipation of our tour in Germany, Sarah and I were working through some covers that might be fun and when we started fiddling with this one her husband [James Muriel] in the other room yelled out “Well, you’re obviously doing that one!” This was a joy to make, and we hope it’s a joy to watch”.

Sarah Darling has been performing ‘Country Roads’ on a regular basis this summer during her UK festival dates and it has quickly become a fan favourite as it becomes a staple of her mesmerising live shows across the country.

The new video featuring the vocals of Foster really gives it a fresh vibe and their soaring harmonies are absolutely beautiful.
