March 2019 will see US country music sensation and honoury Brit Sarah Darling release her eagerly anticipated new studio album. The LP will be released independently via Be Darling Records and is the follow up to Sarah’s massive 2017 breakout record ‘Dream Country‘. It will also be her fourth studio album, following previous releases ‘Every Monday Morning‘ and ‘Angels and Devils‘.

The ‘Dream Country’ LP catapulted Sarah Darling into the hearts of UK fans and won her a legion of support and new fans across the world as the songs really connected with audiences. Now, she is ready to unleash a whole new collection of inspiring tracks with her upcoming album which is due for release in March next year.

Here we bring you a preview of the very anticipated release:

    WHAT WE KNOW:

Sarah Darling has been writing songs for the new project since last year and she made the decision to base herself in London for the whole summer of this year to work with British writers and to give the new record an overall UK/US Country crossover feel. The new collection of tracks will also be mastered and produced in the UK and Darling has already started work on the album tracklist and has returned to London this week to start recording the finished project.

Staring at the ocean is mesmerizing. It intrigues me and scares me at the same time. A world full of mystery and power. It has brought me so much inspiration this week as I start to make a track listing for my new album! #gozo #inspiration #mediterranean #malta pic.twitter.com/HpM6W3fzXu

    THE SONGWRITERS:

Darling has worked with a number of esteemed songwriters from all over the world for her new album, but there is also a strong number of British writers working with the US singer. So far we know that co-writes on the new record include Martin Luke Brown, Hannah Yadi, Million Miles, Ash Lowes, Seton Daunt, Jenn Bostic, Emily Shackleton, Jeff Cohen, Robin Howl, Paul Statham, Shelly Mcerlaine, Peter Hammerton, Raquel Cole, Michael Logen, Jabe Beyer, and Jessica Sharman.

    THE SONGS:

So far we have heard ten songs but we are still unsure which ones will make the final cut. During her tour across the UK in March of this year and during festival appearances throughout the summer Sarah Darling premiered a number of new tracks including ‘Magic’, More Issues Than Vogue’, ‘Shimmer’, ‘Time Lapse’, ‘Wings’, ‘Shine’ ‘A Little Bit Of Rain’, the singer also performed a stunning collaboration titled ‘Our Own Song’ with record making UK Country stars Ward Thomas during their Christmas show last December in Guildford. And Sarah has also released two official singles this year; ‘Wasted‘ and ‘Diamonds‘.

These gorgeous tracks somehow manage to eclipse the works of art featured on ‘Dream Country’ but keep the same themes of believing in your dreams running through the project. ‘Time Lapse’ is a wonderful track about the time Sarah has spent between London, Nashville and native Iowa. ‘Magic’ is a beautiful song that simply shines. ‘More Issues Than Vogue’ is a fun tongue-in-cheek pop infused hit. ‘Shimmer’ is a stunning track with a bouncy production that is all about following your own path to your dreams. ‘Shine’ is a beautiful love ballad. ‘A Little Bit Of Rain’ is a sure-fire hit. ‘ ‘Wings’ is a sensational stripped back track that is going to be a real highlight on the new record. While official singles ‘Wasted’ and ‘Diamonds’ are poignant tracks that have already become firm fan favourites. ‘Our Own Song’ is about the divorces of Sarah and Ward Thomas’ parents and is a really heartfelt track.
