Selena Gomez has revealed that her highly anticipated new studio album will be released on January 10.
Taking to social media, Selena shared an album teaser and described it as her “diary from the past few years”. The album will include her first ever Billboard Hot 100 number one ‘Lose You To Love Me’ as well as ‘Look At Her Now’.
Whilst she references the album as ‘SG2’ in the teaser, a title given by her fans, Selena confirmed that the official album title, artwork and tracklist would be coming soon.
Selena’s new album is available to pre-order and pre-save now. The album can also be purchased on her online store with a number of physical formats and merchandise bundles available. A Target deluxe edition will also be available, featuring the previously released ‘Wolves’ with Marshmello, ‘Back To You’, ‘Bad Liar’, ‘It Ain’t Me’ with Kygo and ‘Fetish’ with Gucci Mane.
‘SG2’ follows on from Selena’s previous album Revival, which was released back in 2015. It spawned a number of hits including ‘Hands To Myself’, ‘Kill Em With Kindness’, and ‘Same Old Love’.
Most recently, Selena executive produced the critically acclaimed Netflix docu-series Living Undocumented, which created much buzz and discussion regarding the polarising issue of undocumented people living in the United States. She also starred in The Dead Don’t Die opposite Bill Murray and Adam Driver, which received its premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
Selena will be taking to the stage tonight (November 24) at the American Music Awards. This marks her first live televised performance in two years. You can catch the show live at 8pm EST on ABC.
