If you’re a fan of pop/punk band SHADED, then get ready to take a huge breath as the trio have just dropped a new single, a music video and details of their new EP.
Earlier today, the band released their brand new single ‘A Familiar Love’. Armed with their signature fusion of pop, punk, and rock, ‘A Familiar Love’ is another high energy offering from SHADED which showcases why they’re one of the most exciting bands currently on the scene.
Not only is the track now available to stream and download, but the band also unveiled its accompanying music video. Shot at Woolton Hall, Liverpool, the visual tells the story of a blossoming romance between a young couple. However, whilst the couple appear to be madly in love, things are sadly not as they seem. The narrative is intertwined with shots of SHADED performing in an abandoned mansion.

If a new single and video wasn’t enough, SHADED also revealed details of their forthcoming A Familiar Love EP, which is due for release on October 5 via Common Ground Records. The five-track EP is available to pre-order now and will include the single ‘Tell Me’.
Speaking about the EP release, frontman Matt East said, “The word ‘proud’ doesn’t even come close to describing how we all feel about finally being able to share this track and the new EP with the world. I know I speak on behalf of the whole band when I say that we are so excited for people to hear the record in its entirety.”
Coinciding with the EP release, SHADED will be heading out on a co-headline tour with Wolf Culture next month. The tour will kick off in Leeds on October 5, before visiting Wrexham, Birmingham, London and Bournemouth. Full live dates and further details can be found here.
