Shania Twain Says Writing Music is “Therapeutic”

Shania Twain whose real name is Eileen, is due to release her first album in fourteen long years very soon!

The 51-year-old legendary country singer marked her comeback to music in 2011 with the brilliant single ‘Today is Your Day‘, before starting a two-year residence at the Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, for her ‘Still the One’ shows from 2012-2014. And in 2015 she embarked on her sold out farewell ‘Rock This Country’ tour around the US and Canada.

And earlier this year she confirmed she was officially back in the recording studio working on the follow up to her 2002 hit LP ‘Up!’.

The new record has been produced by Matthew Koma, and UK producer Jake Gosling, who has worked with huge names including; One Direction, and Ed Sheeran.

Shania Twain has herself confirmed that her fifth studio album will be her most “diverse” record to date.

And now the star who is the most successful female in country music of all time has shared a sweet message with her 820k followers on Twitter. Saying: “It is very therapeutic for me to write the music… If my music is empowering or encouraging, or whatever. That motivates me.”

This has lead to her legion of fans asking her to drop her brand new album to inspire them once again;
