Ever since he burst onto the music scene in 2015 with his debut single ‘Easy Love’, DJ and producer Sigala has been blessing us with bop after bop.

From the balls-to-the-wall banger ‘Give Me Your Love’ featuring John Newman and Nile Rodgers, the infectious ‘Lullaby’ featuring Paloma Faith, to his current pay day smash ‘Just Got Paid’ featuring Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor and French Montana, each track has been building towards the release of Sigala’s debut album Brighter Days.

Now, ten releases later as the main artist, six of which charted in the UK top 10, Sigala has finally shared Brighter Days with the world. The album includes his previously released tracks in addition to six new offerings, all of which feature an array of impressive collaborations from world famous artists to the industry’s brightest rising stars.

Arguably the most high profile collaboration on the album is ‘What You Waiting For’, which sees Sigala team up with the pop princess herself, Kylie Minogue. The track combines the DJ’s signature tropical and breezy production style with Kylie’s pop prowess to create an exciting offering which is irresistible to the ear.

Other notable offerings include ‘Somebody’ with HRVY and Nina Nesbitt, and ‘Revival’ with Cheat Codes and MAX. ‘Somebody’ packs a punch with its euphoric chorus and showcases HRVY and Nina’s vocals, whilst ‘Revival’ is equally as anthemic, allowing MAX’s vocals and elements of Cheat Codes’ production to shine.

Brighter Days has been a long time coming, but there’s no doubt that Sigala has delivered a truly cohesive offering. Whilst each song could serve as a standalone release thanks to the unique edge delivered by the varying featured artists, they are also laced with the classic Sigala sound which ties them together perfectly. Sigala has done a stellar job and it’s safe to say that we’re going to be playing this album on repeat until further notice.
