Following his remix of Ariana Grande’s ‘Into You’, 3LAU is back with a new track called ‘Fire’, a collaboration with Said The Sky featuring Christina.
‘Fire’ is the second single to be released from not-for-profit label BLUME, and it’s a completely heavenly offering. The emotionally charged track begins with a beautiful piano riff, before Christina’s vocals kick in. The chorus is hypnotic, with dance oriented elements which make you want to lose yourself in the the music.
‘I feel the fire, it’s burning inside of me’.
The song is powerful and the haunting vocals will resonate with you long after you finish listening. Whilst there is still a dance element to it, it’s completely different to anything we’ve heard from 3LAU before.
As if we didn’t love ‘Fire’ enough, all money from the sales and streams of the track will be donated to Pencils of Promise. So far this year, 3LAU has raised over $105,000 from donating a portion of ticket sales and fees from private shows. Previous single ‘Is It Love’ also raised $90,000 for the charity.

3LAU and Said The Sky got together for the track after meeting in Denver in late 2015. After hearing the plans for Justin (3LAU)’s BLUME project, Trevor (Said The Sky) was keen to be involved and the pair soon started to brainstorm ideas back and forth. ‘Fire’ turned out to be one of their first creations.
We’re calling ‘Fire’ one of our tracks to listen out for. We’re pretty certain that 3LAU will reach out to a new audience as he continues to push his musical boundaries. Put your headphones on, switch the song on full volume and lose yourself in the wonder that is ‘Fire’.
