23-year-old singer/songwriter George Shelley is best known for his time in the band Union J, and for coming second during the 2015 series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! But he is now launching his own solo career with his debut track ‘360’.

SINGLE REVIEW: George Shelley '360' 2

The song is the first in a series of six which will be released over a six week period culminating on Christmas day this year, and is part of an industry first called George Shelley Originals. The Originals series will see Shelley releasing a new song and video every Sunday for the next few weeks.

‘360’ is the start of George Shelley’s solo music career and he certainly means business. The track is worlds away from the pop music he was making and releasing with Union J, and has much more of a laid back rock vibe to it. The single also has shades of a Jake Bugg style.

The debut track from the talented star sees him finally prove once and for all that his vocals are more than strong enough to stand on their own, as he shows he does not need the backing of a band.

    RATING 5/5.
