Mixed UK/US country music band Jess And The Bandits are currently gearing up for the release of their sophomore album ‘Smoke and Mirrors‘. The LP is the eagerly anticipated follow up to the 2015 debut ‘Here We Go Again‘ which was a top-ten hit on the Official UK Country Chart.
‘Smoke and Mirrors’ will be released on September 15th and earlier this month they released the first single off the record titled ‘Kings Of Summer‘. The track has been a huge success and gives a taste of what is to come from their new LP.
Speaking about the upcoming album, lead singer Jess says: “I am so excited about this album. I wanted to make sure that the sound grew and developed, experimenting a little even. Gospel music is so close to my heart that I knew I needed to bring those elements into this new record. ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ is a labour of love. A collection of songs that will take listeners on a journey”.
And now Jess And The Bandits have announced the release of their brand new single ‘I’m Not Going Home’. The toe-tapping track will drop on July 7th and is available to pre-save on Spotify.
‘I’m Not Going Home’ is country/rock track that has super catchy chorus, it’s a perfect song for summer barbecues. It makes you yearn for those long, hot nights, and makes you want to go on a road trip just so you have an excuse to roll down the windows and blast it out while you sing-a-long at the top of your lungs.
It’s definitely going to be a massive hit when the band hit the road in September for their UK tour with the crowd singing along to every word. ‘I’m Not Going Home’ is without doubt the best song Jess And The Bandits have ever released and really showcases their musical growth over the past few years.
‘I’m Not Going Home’ has shades of Lady Antebellum to it and marks out Jess And The Bandits as one of the most exciting acts in country music at the moment.
