Sisterhood of Traveling Pants #3 in the Works?

In 2014 fans were excited to hear about a possible third movie happening in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series; and in 2015, it was confirmed that it was definitely happening.

In an interview with People magazine in 2015, actress Amber Tamblyn, aka: ‘Tibby’, said, “I can definitely say that there is something big brewing and we are all a part of it, so, that’s all I can really say about it right now”. Fans were even more excited to learn that it was actually confirmed!

Then, America Ferrera, aka: Carmen, had an interview with People confirming the movie as well, and commented, “There’s a fifth book, and what’s wonderful about it is, and the series to begin with, is that it’s really raw and honest about friendship and how hard it can be and how it changes as you grow up”.

Since then, the public hasn’t heard any new news about the project but, recently, at the Los Angeles Film Festival, Amber Tamblyn again weighed in on the issue of whether or not a 3rd movie is in the works, when she was asked when the release date was- Tamblyn said, “I have no information about that right now, but I can obviously tell you that something is definitely in the works”.

This sounds like the third movie is coming soon (at least we hope) and we are so excited!
