We might have just said goodbye to festival season but that we’ve already begun to plan our 2020 festival schedule as line-ups begin to be announced. Slam Dunk Festival is the latest to announce the first wave of acts set to grace the stages at next year’s event.
Bedford based quartet Don Broco have been announced as the first headliner of the festival and will perform an exclusive 2020 UK festival performance at Leeds and Hatfield on May Bank Holiday weekend.
Pop-punk has always had a strong place in Slam Dunk Festival’s line-ups and this has remained the case even from the initial announcement. With the likes of State Champs, The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck and Bayside amongst the first names announced. The festival caters for a vast variety of genres, promising something for pretty much all music lovers to enjoy across the course of the day and for those on the heavier side of life Ice Nine Kills, Issues and Hands Like Houses will also be there to enjoy live.
What we’ve always loved about Slam Dunk Festival is their ability to bring something special and memorable to the event, whether it was a surprise set from Busted like this year or an exclusive reunion such as in the case of Motion City Soundtrack who will be reuniting at Slam Dunk Festival 2020.
