Thursday night saw one of Manchester’s busiest and funkiest venues, Viva, host MTV’s Staying Alive charity event – an evening of music and fundraising hosted by Mancunian Fashionista and singer Jsky who teamed up with the Manchester branch of Kiehl’s.
The evening saw stars turn out in force to support such a worthy charity, a charity that does amazing work with HIV, providing funding and training to youth-led HIV prevention projects. And, we can reveal that the evening raised over £450 for the charity, which will go such a long way!
Amongst the stars was Big Brother winner Chanelle McCleary who showed off her incredible figure in a body tight dress, and Hollyoaks favourite Jazmine Franks who opted for a beautiful Autumn outfit look. Other guests included boxer Anthony Crolla, BGT’s Danny Beard, and DJ Damon Hess.
Opening the evening, Jsky performed his own original songs ‘Liv’ and ‘Myself’, and wowed the crowd with dancing, amazing vocals and high energy. The night also saw many other talented performances including, Tobi Sunmola, X-Factor’s Kiera Weathers and BGT’s Kris Evans.
Throughout the evening, there were speeches made by the Kiehl’s brand who spoke about the amazing work that they do with the Staying Alive Foundation.
The evening was, undoubtedly, a huge success, and if this event is anything to go by, any future events in Manchester will be huge!
