Suicide Squad only opened 3 days ago but it has already smashed box office records.
The blockbuster made an incredible $65.125m during it’s opening on Friday and has since grossed $129.725m globally.
DC’s worst superheroes ever have also generated the biggest earnings for a Friday in the United Kingdom with $6.2 million.
The figures show that the critics haven’t put fans off rushing out to theatres on the opening weekend.
The success of the newest of the DCEU installments has also landed it among the top grossing comic book/superhero movies, next to X-Men and Batman Returns,and also gave Will Smith his best opening weekend figures.
