Starting this Friday, indie rockers The Amazons take their sophomore album on the road for the Future Dust U.K. Tour.
Released earlier this year, the four-piece’s highly anticipated sophomore record Future Dust hit the shelves. Featuring singles ‘Mother’ and ‘Doubt It’, CelebMix reviewed “the ballsy” self-titled follow up. A turn from the catchy indie lick-driven tunes that soared the Reading band into the limelight, The Amazons went darker and amped up the rock.
Fast finding a place in fans hearts at festival shows including a mammoth BBC Radio 1 stage show at Reading & Leeds and slots at Community Festival, TRNSMT, Mad Cool and Zürich Opener, amongst others. Most recently, the band finished a headline tour around Europe stopping in Warsaw, Berlin, Amsterdam, Hamburg and many more.
Now, eyes turn to the U.K. leg, with a 5,000 strong show at the O2 Academy Brixton to finish the tour later this month. Before that, there are stops at Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol, Bournemouth and Norwich, with tickets still available for all nights except Manchester.
Fans going along can expect those dark tracks that make up Future Dust as well as fan favourites from The Amazons like ‘Stay With Me,’ ‘Junk Food Forever’ and the infamous ‘Black Magic’.
