The Backstreet Boys just released a new single, Chances” on Friday morning, along with a music video.
The song, co-written by Shawn Mendes and One Republic’s, Ryan Tedder, talks about the “two-in-a- million chance” you will meet the love of your life in an everyday scenario.
“Chances” was one of the last songs the boys recorded for their album. They tried to make it sound like a back to basics song while also pushing their sound forward in interesting ways.
“Chances” comes after the release of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” earlier this year.
These two songs will be on their tenth album, DNA, out January 25th. Their last Album, In a World Like This, was released in 2013.
The album also has writing credits from Andy Grammer, Lauv, and Mike Sabbath.
The ‘boys’ have been in Las Vegas for their residency and have now decided to take their music out on the road again. The DNA World Tour will kick off in May 2019, right after they finish up in Las Vegas. Information about it is available on their website.
