    Professional wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a The Rock, took to Facebook this morning to share the first picture of his baby daughter!

    Johnson and his partner Lauren Hashian have named their beautiful baby girl Jasmine. It was only announced in September that Johnson and Lauren were expecting their first child together. Johnson already has a daughter called Simone from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.

    Clearly feeling as pleased as punch, Johnson posted a long message on Facebook, doting on his daughter as well as sharing the first image of her, resting on his chest.

     Johnson wrote a very touching message, asking the universe for just one wish, to give him the strength to be a better man today than he was yesterday. “If I can accomplish that, then I’d have a good shot at being a great father. To all you young men out there who will be fathers one day, the goal of ‘being better’ will never steer you wrong. Trust me I’ve been down this road” he said.

    Johnson also detailed how he witnessed the birth and supported Hashian throughout. He encouraged all fathers-to-be to do the same as “it’s a miracle we should witness because it’ll give you a whole new respect for the strength and beauty of a woman”.

    He also thanked fans and wished them a Merry Christmas. Johnson ended with some humour, hashtagging #SheCanDateWhenShes40, showing that he’s already feeling protective over his little girl!
