The Shires Announce New Single ‘Guilty’

It has been two whole months since British country music duo The Shires announced details of their brand new studio album ‘Accidentally On Purpose‘. The LP is the follow up to their hugely successful 2016 sophomore release ‘My Universe‘, and it will be dropping on April 20th.

Along with the new album announcement Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes – AKA The Shires have also confirmed a string of UK tour dates starting this May. The pair will be supported on the road by UK country star Andy Brown and singer/songwriter Sinead Burgess.

And since the announcements of the new LP and tour, they have been teasing fans that they will be getting new music very soon and it has now been confirmed that listeners will get their first taste of what’s to come from ‘Accidentally On Purpose’ this Friday as they drop brand new single ‘Guilty’.

The record breaking duo confirmed the release date of ‘Guilty’ yesterday (Tuesday,March 6th) via their social media profiles in a fun clip filmed on the set of the official music video in Los Angeles. The teaser video shows the cheeky pair going around putting Guilty signs on the back of the unsuspecting film crew. In the shoot we can also hear a sneak-preview of the track which sounds like it is going to be a slice of country-pop heaven;
