Tilly Keeper is leaving Eastenders after playing the role of Louise Mitchell for four years.
The 22-Year-old actress will exit the show with a dramatic storyline in the new year, but producers are keeping tight-lipped on the details of her exit storyline. Tilly has played the role of Louise since 2016 and was the fourth actress to take over the role of hard man Phil Mitchells daughter.
Tilly Keeper will bow out of the soap opera after the explosive Christmas events which will leave Louise heartbroken and devastated at the reveal her boyfriend and father of her baby Keanu Taylor had an affair and a baby with her step-mum Sharon Mitchell. This storyline will see Keanu leave Albert Square after actor Danny Walters quit the soap opera.
This week viewers will tune into the soap opera to see Louise give birth to her and Keanu’s baby after going into early labour.
Eastenders bosses announced that Louise will be naming her baby Peggy after her late grandmother. The choice of name also pays tribute to Dame Barbara Winsor, the actress who played Peggy Mitchell from 1994 until 2016 who has been battling dementia.
Fans of Eastenders watched Barbara Winsor bow out of her role of Peggy Mitchell with an emotional and tear-jerking exit a few years back.
Tilly Keeper’s friends and co-stars have rushed to support the actress with Amy-Leigh Hickman who played the role of Linzi Bragg on the soap taking to social media to show her support.
