On a major music release day, All Time Low has managed to drop one of the most anticipated alternative singles of the last two years.
With this being their first single since the release of their sixth album, Future Hearts, ATL has kept fans waiting for a long time. However, considering their most recent post seems to implicate a larger amount of tour dates, many fans can’t complain that the boys definitely know how to build things up.
Along with the track’s release, the band also dropped the accompanying video. The video, which seems to contain several different underlying messages, might be considered one of the darker videos that the band has released. With a different feel to previous singles, “Dirty Laundry” contains deep, dark lyricism with opposing, catchy rhythms. Although the band’s signature feel doesn’t kick in until the last minute of the song, it manages to be enjoyable, singable, and a great choice for a single release.

Along with the song and music video, ATL announced they left Hopeless Records last year. Under Fueled by Ramen now, the band hopes to continue to release albums that are successful. When talking about the label change with Alternative Press, Alex Gaskarth only had positive things to say. “They really let us be who we want to be. There was no one there trying to shape us or guide us or direct us where to go from here,” said Alex.
With these incoming changes, we’re very excited to see what direction the band takes with their next album. Constantly teasing us with tweets about “studio time,” we’re heavily anticipating the next album release. We wish All Time Low the best.
