Tonight Alive (now Jenna McDougall, Jake Hardy, Cameron Adler, and Matt Best) are back! They recently announced their upcoming album Underworld, out January 12th, 2018 via Hopeless Records.
Underworld is supposed to musically symbolizes the totality of the band’s life coming full circle after experiencing their highest highs and lowest lows. Jenna McDougall (lead vocalist) shares, “The album is called Underworld and I named it that because it reflects the ugly parts of me that I wasn’t ready to see until now.”
Along with the announcement of their new album, Tonight Alive released a music video for their first single off Underworld, titled “Temple”. The lyrics to the track were taken from a time when Jenna was experiencing severe depression and fatigue, when she was entrapped in being sick in her mind, body and soul.
