Troye Sivan anticipates ‘Bloom’ with new track, ‘Animal’

‘Animal’ is the latest track to be released from Troye Sivan’s sophomore album, ‘Bloom’ which will be released on 31st August 2018

Troye Sivan saw this year off to a great start when he released his highly anticipated single, ‘My My My!’ on 10th January 2018. It was the Sivan’s first solo release since ‘Heaven’ which features Betty Who was deemed as a single from his debut album, ‘Blue Neighbourhood’. Troye Sivan’s debut album, ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ was released all the way back in December 2015 and has launched the once was YouTuber into pop stardom.

Entering the ‘Bloom’ era, we have so far received FIVE singles, ‘Animal’ being his latest piece of work. Other singles include: ‘Bloom’, ‘Dance To This’ (featuring Ariana Grande) and ‘The Good Side’ as well as before-mentioned, ‘My My My!’

Following the Ariana Grande assisted single, ‘Animal’ is quite the oxymoron in terms of production and overall vibe. With ‘Dance To This’ being an upbeat dance-pop track with tongue ‘n’ cheek lyrics, ‘Animal’ is more of an honest and soul-bearing approach from Sivan. Lyrically, the ‘Bloom’ singer-songwriter claims to be an ‘Animal’ with the questioned lover he is serenading of in this track.

However, there does seem to be a re-occurring theme of love with Troye Sivan’s recent singles, from the emotional feeling of falling in love to the physical intimacy with his lover, it seems there is nothing Sivan is shying away from singing about in his forthcoming album, ‘Bloom’.
