South Korea’s IT girl group Twice are back with their latest comeback ‘Fancy’ and it is an absolute summer anthem.
While the girls are known for their cute concept and catchy songs, this time around the girls are tackling a girl crush comeback and we are loving it. ‘Fancy’ is an EDM dance-pop track that oozes confidence and versatility from the nine girls.
Twice stated on V-Live that the ‘Fancy You’ era was “something that they had never done before” and member Chaeyoung added “I wanted to let it be known that TWICE can show this kind of image too. I’m satisfied we made a comeback with this song.”
‘Fancy’ shows the diversity of the group and that they are not just a ‘one trick pony’ only capable of cute, easy to listen to songs. While they nail the cute concepts on the head every single time, the girls are now women and the shift is only natural for them. Twice are consistently fantastic and ‘Fancy’ only adds to the collection of bops that these girls are releasing.
Twice will also be embarking on their first ever world tour this year, spanning South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States, with more dates expected to be added.
